Cholesterol Ratio Calculator

(1) Total Cholesterol(TC) / HDL-C ratio
(2) non-HDL-C / HDL-C ratio
(3) Triglycerides(TG) / HDL-C ratio
(4) LDL-C / HDL-C ratio

You must enter HDL-C and at least one other value.
If only TC, TG, and HDL-C are entered, LDL-C will be calculated using the Friedewald formula.
(If TG ≥ 400, LDL-C will not be calculated using this formula.)
If LDL-C is entered directly, that value will be used first.
*Friedewald formula : LDL-C = TC – HDL – (TG/5)
*non-HDL-C = TC – HDL-C

※ Typical Cholesterol ratio ranges (not firmly established)
TC/HDL-C ratio : Bad (≥ 5.0), Good (3.5~5.0), Ideal (< 3.5)
TG/HDL-C ratio : Bad (≥ 4.0), Good (2.0~4.0), Ideal (< 2.0)
LDL-C/HDL-C ratio : Bad (≥ 5.0), Good (2.0~5.0), Ideal (< 2.0)
