💧 Fluid Resuscitation Formula
Adults (Parkland Formula): Weight(kg) × %TBSA × 4ml = Total fluid volume in 24 hours
- First 8 hours: 50% of total fluid volume (Ringer’s Lactate)
- Next 16 hours: 50% of total fluid volume (Ringer’s Lactate)
- %TBSA: Includes only 2nd degree or higher burns (excludes 1st degree burns)
