- Reticulocyte : 末梢血中のreticulocyteの量は造血状態を反映します。
- Corrected Reticulocyte Count : Hbが減少すると相対的にreticulocyteが増加したように見えますが、これを補正したものがCorrected Reticulocyte Countです。
- Reticulocyte Production Index (RPI) : 造血が増加するとerythroid cellが未成熟な状態で末梢血に出るため、reticulocyteとして存在する期間が長くなります。これを補正したものがReticulocyte Production Indexです。
- 貧血患者でRPIが2.5以上の場合は溶血(Hemolysis)または失血(Bleeding)を示唆します。（ただし、RPIが2.5未満だからといって溶血と失血を除外することはできません。）
